Bossio: "There is something that for me is fundamental and Bordalás mentioned it as well: Regaining the DNA of our club"
Miguel Ángel Bossio has analysed the first days of José Bordalás' time as coach of Valencia CF. The club ambassador and legend spoke to VCF Media and expressed his pleasure with a new arrival bringing firm ideas to the role.
Regaining the Valencia CF DNA
It's fundamental. Above all, when we've had these deficiencies over the past two seasons. Logically, it's something that we have to work on and improve. It's what Bordalás has said. We have to get into working mode and get back on track. There is something that for me is fundamental. We spoke with him before, and he mentioned regaining the DNA of our club. Evidently, that's something that has fallen by the wayside, and we urgently need to get back to it.

The team will give their all
The famous quote by Di Stefano was "We won, but we have to put on a show." Either that, or "We played like never before, and lost like always." I prefer to win, but if we show organisation and hard work, then both we and the fans will go home content with the fact that the team gave their all. Bordalás said that we have to instil this, so that the fans are happy and, when possible, we take points -especially at Mestalla.
This is a working structure. He needs to know that the team will give their all. That's his DNA, and Valencia CF's DNA as well. That's great for us, because we've seen a Valencia CF side who have given 8/10 or 9/10 performances against big teams, and the same team take a huge dip the following Sunday. We need to be more consistent, based on our dedication and effort. That DNA that Bordalás and his coaching staff have has to be transmitted to the squad. I have no doubt that, working steadily, we are going to achieve it.
